Created in 2007, La Chouette is a French photography team based in Shanghai. Our unique combination of a professional photographer & retoucher, with a creative director & stylist, offers clients digital photography solutions for all commercial or personal needs.
La Chouette focuses on a creative approach to photography, taking the interpretation of products to another level, with acute attention to detail and delivering a high quality end product. Working with La Chouette is choosing a highly innovative partner for high end results.
Our services
La Chouette can offer a full photographic service. Wether you need to produce a catalog or advertisment, we can get it done from beginning to end. We can offer a complete range of services to suit any size production. We can organize all the preparation work (crew & staff hiring, model casting and booking, props and equipment hire, airport & freight, transportation & accomodation), make sure the shoot itself runs smoothly and deal with the post-production (retouching & printing).

1 - Photography :
We pride ourselves on professionalism and competency.
We focus on: Architecture, Advertising, Auto, Brochures, Buildings, Construction sites, Catwalks, Catalogs, Cosmetics, Children, Events, Factories, Family Portraits, Fashion, Furniture, Food, Headshots, Industrial, Interiors design, Jewelry, Landscape, Lifestyle, Magazines, Model Portfolio, Products, Websites, and more...
We shoot either in studio and/or Outdoor with the best professional materials.
2 - Studio & equipments :
We are shooting in one of Shanghai's most largest and most professionally equiped photographic studios. The studio has 3 shooting sets, 2 make-up rooms, 1 kitchen and provide one of the best lighting equipment and digital camera backs (30M pixels) that you can find in Shanghai.
Depending on your project size & requirements, we will decide which options will be the more convenient to shoot your images.
3- Retouching :
We have professional photographic retouching skills and our own in house digital imaging workstation (apple mac pro computers), that will give you the full power of digital to make your picture look just as you had imagined it.
Our retouch service includes:
-Image enhancement: Create a perfect picture by removing all imperfections.
-Color modifications: we can change the colors on a product, and/or give you the exact right color you wish for it.
4-Graphic design :
We can also provide a full art work design service to create logos or design your brochures and catalogs layout.
5-Prepress:
We perfectly control our color management workflow, and we always follow up the digital imaging with prepress to make sure that the colors you will get on your computer screen will be what you get on your final print, all in accordance with the the process by which you are going to print your photographs (Inkjet printers, Lambda or Frontier, Offset).
This includes: Color Space Conversions (from RGB to CMYK) with Color Corrections and Digital Proofs.
